TIRE ROTATIONS
How often should I rotate my tires?
Morrison Tire recommends rotating you tires every other oil change or roughly 6,000 miles. Neglecting to rotate tires is a major cause of premature tire wear and many tire manufacturers will void a warranty if there is evidence tires have not been rotated frequently. Morrison Tire will rotate you tires for free if the tires are purchased at our facility!
TIRE BALANCE
What is a tire balance?
Often confused with a wheel alignment, tire balancing assures the best performance and ride quality for your vehicle and the longest life from the tires. Even when new, tires and wheels do not have a perfect weight distribution. Balancing tires helps correct this weight distribution with the aid of wheel weights. Every new set installed at Morrison Tire includes a proper balance of the tire. We can also re-balance existing tires on your vehicle is a problem is found.
AIR PRESSURE
What should I set my vehicles air pressure to?
Every vehicle has a different recommended air pressure. This information can most commonly be found by viewing the psi specs on the driver door or door-jam. Still can't find the recommended tire pressure? Give us a call today and we can let you know. Better yet, swing by and we will set the air pressure in your tires for free!
TPMS
What is TPMS and what does it mean and do you perform TPMS repairs?
A Tire-Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) is a system designed to monitor the air pressure in each tire of the vehicle. You may have a light on your dash something along the lines of a “(!)” or “TPMS.” This system electronically relays tire-pressure information to the driver via indicator lights on the dashboard and illuminates if there is a problem. All technicians at Morrison Tire are equipped to read, reset, and diagnose and TPMS issues you might have. We stock Tire pressure sensors for 95% of vehicles on the road for same day installation.
